Biography

The practice of Yoga enables wellness, which will lead you to happiness, health and a better life. This Practice is what I wish to share. 

I was first introduced to Yoga years ago while teaching health and fitness programs. For over a decade I have been a nationally certified Fitness instructor, as well as a Personal Trainer. I discovered Yoga while traveling along my path for improvement within my physical and mental well-being.  With the practice of Yoga I noticed an enhanced balance in my physical conditioning as well as my Spirit. I felt more fulfilled.

This new found path led me to pursue my education in Hatha Yoga instruction, in association with Yoga Alliance. This was a remarkable transition for me. I began recognizing my own personal transformation, through honoring this ancient system. And by instructing, I continue to recognize the endless benefits which Yoga offers to others.

I enjoy working with different populations of practitioners. Many of my most memorable moments have been from instructing children and seniors. I encourage everyone to come to the practice with an open mind for increasing their flexibility, strength and stamina, and leave with a deeper realization of themselves. By leveraging the strength in our body, mind and Spirit we can literally lead ourselves through the practice.

My Yoga practice is linked to my well being as well as that of my family's. My husband and two sons are very supportive of my journey to deepen my personal practice and further a career in Yoga instruction.

As your guide in Yoga I will work with you to build a program to meet your needs. You will receive a quality set of exercises, learn proper form and technique and have an enjoyable experience - all together, bringing you towards your goal of a better life.
